Linköping Laboratory for Computational Biomechanics and Mechanobiology
|
We apply the methods of mechanics, applied mathematics and physics to study biological phenomena, and use their concepts to describe these phenomena. We focus on modeling where the basic equations of motion are playing an important role enabling us to perform predictive simulations. The core of our work resides in the borderzone between continuum mechanics, mathematics, computational engineering and physiology. The practical outcome of our reseach includes non-invasive estimation of parameters relevant for diagnosis, intervention planning and follow-up. Inauguration of L2BMThe opening ceremony of L2BM was held Thursday May 11. Pictures from the ceremony. Announcements about L2BM: |
